This week, Rex (Mekhi Phifer) takes the Torchwood team back to the USA. But when Esther (Alexa Havins) reveals to her Section Chief, Brian Friedkin (Wayne Knight), that she's part of Rex's team, she finds the CIA turning against her, and is forced to go on the run.
Oswald (Bill Pullman) tries to enjoy his newfound freedom, and meets the mysterious Jilly Kitzinger (Lauren Ambrose).
Rex's surgeon, Dr. Vera Juarez (Arlene Tur), joins the Washington D.C. medical panels to investigate the Miracle, where the scientists discover that mankind is immortal but still aging.
And when Jack (John Barrowman) is poisoned on an airplane, it's a life or death struggle to save the one person who can still die -- but who can be trusted?
